0 FASHION WEEK + GREEN LOVE 1

*It's Fall 2011 Fashion Week in NYC, so we're going to highlight some eco-chic designers, some do-it-yourself (or "tweak"-it-yourself) ideas and some other fashion minded treats.*

Fall Fashion Week is starting in NYC today and I can't help thinking of how awesome it would be to be there, especially with the "The Green Shows" showing off cool eco-friendly goods for spring.  I can't think of a better season to be in NYC.  It reminds me of a quote from one of the greatest movies of all time-

"Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly-sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address."- from "You've Got Mail."  Thanks Joe Fox/Tom Hanks. You are nice.

So, we can't make it physically to Fashion Week, but we shall go there in spirit.  Here's a sampling of previous work from some eco-designers showing at The Green Shows this week.
