Last evening was the October gathering for the St. Louis USGBC. Bob Berkebile of BNIM architects spoke about what's next for green building and sustainability.
He showcased some great projects from BNIM. One of which is the Omega Center for Sustainable Living, (see below) which processes all the waste water from the Omega Center on site.
A natural system called an "Eco Machine" is used to clean dirty water by mimicking natural plant processes.
It's beautiful and so cool.
